Dashwood Manor's Policies
Check-in & Check-out
Our standard check-in time is 3:00 pm and our standard check-out time is 11:00 am.
Late Check-Out
Our ability to accommodate requests for early check-in or late check-out is based on hotel occupancy and our staffing levels during that particular day. We try to be as accommodating as possible; however, there are some days when flexibility to our normal times simply cannot be accommodated.
Please notify guest services of your request as soon as possible during your stay.
Rates & Booking Policies
Rates are based on double occupancy, a $45 charge applies for each additional guest thereafter.
All room rates are quoted in Canadian dollars and are subject to municipal, provincial, and federal taxes.
Quoted tax rates are subject to change as they are approximate.
A credit card (Visa, Mastercard or American Express) is required to confirm all bookings.
Children
All guests must be at least 16 years of age to stay with us; teenagers aged 16 and above are considered adults for occupancy purposes when sharing a room with their parents.
We can only accept reservations for children under the age of 10 in the Windsor Oak and Oxford Grand rooms. The Camelot Penthouse Suite may be considered but is not guaranteed; please contact management.
Please advise that the property observes quiet hours after 10:00 pm to ensure a peaceful stay for everyone; as such, children must be able to adhere to this policy.

Children over 5 years old will be charged an extra person fee of $45 per night.
Pets
Dashwood Manor will allow pets only in the Windsor Oak and Oxford Grand rooms. All pets are accepted.
The pet fees are $45 dollars per night, per pet.
By Canadian law, licensed Service & Guide Dogs are permitted at the property in any room; however, the service dog must comply with the Guide Dog & Service Act of British Columbia.
Cancellation & Modification Policy
Dashwood Manor has a 7-day cancellation policy. A deposit equal to one night’s room and tax is required at the time of booking. This deposit becomes non-refundable if the reservation is cancelled within 7 days of arrival.

This policy ensures that rooms are held exclusively for our confirmed guests. Unlike some properties, we do not oversell our rooms, so we rely on this notice period to give us a fair chance to re-book the room if your plans change.
Non-Smoking
Dashwood Manor is 100% non-smoking both inside and outside of our property. This is the result of a city wide by-law that prohibits smoking within seven meters of all doorways, windows or air intakes. Anyone found smoking in their rooms or in our common spaces will be subject to a $200 penalty charge and may be liable for additional fees in the event their rooms go out of service for treatment and cannot be resold.​

Does Dashwood Manor have an elevator?
We are a heritage building built in 1912, and even though we have been renovated throughout the years, we do not have an elevator at the building. Guests are encouraged to contact us for ground floor suites if there are any mobility issues.

Can I store my luggage for the day once I've checked out of the hotel?
Absolutely! We provide complimentary luggage storage from the time you check in, and after you check out.
Our office hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Does Dashwood Manor offer baggage assistance?
We almost always have housemen to assist you with your baggage upon check-in and check-out between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. However, this is seasonally available, and outside of that timeframe our service becomes more limited due to the size constraints of our operation, hence we cannot guarantee assistance. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
How many storeys or floors is it to our room?
The Dashwood Manor has four storeys (three floors above ground plus bike storage in the basement).

Do your guest rooms have a table and desk suitable for meetings with clients?
Our guest rooms were designed for luxury and comfort with a focus on fulfilling your recreational needs. Most rooms have a small desk for your personal use, however for formal/true workspace needs we would recommend making alternative arrangements. Guest are welcome to use our breakfast room open 24/7 to relax and/or for work.
